RICHMOND has cashed in on its drought-breaking premiership by posting a profit in excess of $3 million.
The turnaround comes after the club posted an $80,257 loss for the previous financial year.
For the year ending October 31, the Tigers finished $3.06 million in the black.
Their total revenue was $65.2 million, a 37 per cent increase from the previous year.
Richmond set a club record with an average crowd of 55,958, the highest in the competition.
"We remain debt free, have cash reserves of $9.88 million and a strong net asset position of $27.15 million," president Peggy O’Neal told richmondfc.com.au.
"This position has been hard-earned and we will continue to make considered decisions to protect and enhance our financial position.
"While football is our core business, and always our number one priority, we continue to invest in the community."
