SUPPORTERS are getting edgier by the day as Thursday afternoon's NAB AFL Trade Period deadline draws near.
A raft of big names – headed by Jake Carlisle, Charlie Dixon and Adam Treloar– are yet to land at their preferred destinations, although a number of other moves got through on Monday.
As the clock ticks, clubs continue their desperate search for the right combination of picks and players to seal negotiations.

Swans pick the key to Carlisle move?
With Hawthorn hovering, St Kilda is exploring every avenue to satisfy Essendon in negotiations over key defender Jake Carlisle.
After reporting on Monday that Port Adelaide might get involved to help break its own impasse with Gold Coast about Charlie Dixon, The Age suggests the Sydney Swans' first-round pick might be the key to breaking the Carlisle deadlock.
Trade Wrap: Roo likely to bounce north
The Swans are keen to take more draft points to next month's national draft in Adelaide, and could be willing to part with pick 14 in exchange for St Kilda's pick 24 and possibly one of Essendon's second or third-round picks.
The Swans would need to receive more points than their current 1161 for pick 14 – helping them bid for academy star Callum Mills and potentially father-son Josh Dunkley - to buy into the deal.
With another first-round pick in hand, it would mean the Saints would finally be willing to part with pick No.5 in a swap for Carlisle.
There is still the chance St Kilda and the Bombers can find a solution without involving a third party, but the Herald Sun reports the circling Hawks are prepared to restructure their player payments to fit Carlisle under their salary cap.
Lions soften stance on Aish with Pies to swoop
North Melbourne remains the Brisbane Lions' preference to barter a deal for wantaway midfielder James Aish, but the Queensland club is likely to push for a future second-round pick if he sticks with Collingwood as his preferred destination.
The Age reports that the Lions believe getting this year's pick 26 from the Pies would be of little value – unless it is tied to a deal for North midfielder Ryan Bastinac - given they already have points enough to match rival bids and secure academy products Eric Hipwood and Ben Keays at the draft.
The Pies are likely to receive a future second-round pick for Nathan Freeman from St Kilda, which they could then forward to the Lions.
Giants exodus on the horizon
Tom Bell's trade from Carlton to return home to Queensland could open the door for four Greater Western Sydney players to arrive at Ikon Park – and finally get Adam Treloar to Collingwood.
The Blues snared picks 21 and 60 from the Lions in return for Bell and list manager Stephen Silvagni now holds picks 20 and 21 in the draft.
The Age reports he will send one of those picks to his former club GWS in return for Lachie Plowman, Jed Lamb, Liam Sumner and Andrew Phillips.
That pick would then pass from the Giants to Collingwood as part of the Treloar package in return for the Pies' first-round picks this year and in 2016.
Who blinks first in Dixon stand-off?
Charlie Dixon's move to Port Adelaide continues to be held up by Gold Coast's demands of more than pick 10 for the powerful key forward.
But Dixon could leave the Suns empty-handed if a solution can't be found, with the Adelaide Advertiser reporting the big man is willing to enter the pre-season or national draft to get to Alberton.
Dixon is reportedly set to sign a five-year deal with the Power after playing 65 games and booting 94 goals for the Suns.
