A COUPLE of the competition's most sought-after stars produced almighty performances last weekend to keep themselves at the pointy end of Brownlow Medal contention.
Richmond star Dustin Martin and Greater Western Sydney jet Josh Kelly both polled three votes in the AFL.com.au Brownlow predictor.
Gun Adelaide onballer Rory Sloane still heads the expected leaderboard on 15 votes after adding two to his tally in the 100-point win against Fremantle, but Martin (14) and Kelly (13) are chasing hard.

For Kelly, it was the fourth time this season he has been considered best on ground. The only other player in the competition at that mark is Collingwood captain Scott Pendlebury.
Martin, 25, will be a restricted free agent at the end of the season and Essendon was the latest club to enter the race for the Tiger's signature.
Those feelings would likely have only intensified after Martin won the Yiooken Award for best afield against the Bombers in the Dreamtime at the 'G game with 30 disposals, 13 contested possessions and a goal on Saturday night.
The following day, Kelly was instrumental in helping an injury-depleted Giants outfit travel to Perth to beat West Coast by eight points.
Kelly notched up 29 disposals, seven clearances and a goal against the Eagles.
The left-footer was subject to an enormous nine-year offer from North Melbourne and no doubt other suitors will be willing to pay top dollar for the match-winner.
Reigning Brownlow medallist Patrick Dangerfield remains CrownBet's favourite to again win the award as of Monday afternoon at $4. Sloane was at $5.50, Martin $6 and Kelly at $21.
