NORTH Melbourne's demoted wingman Billy Hartung has scored a late reprieve, replacing in-form midfielder Ben Jacobs for Saturday night's clash with the Western Bulldogs.
Jacobs is suffering from delayed onset concussion, with his symptoms presenting after training during the week.
Hartung didn't play in the VFL curtain-raiser at Etihad Stadium, while eight-gamer Cameron Zurhaar – also dropped this week – was pulled from that match early to also be on standby.

Captain Jack Ziebell, who cut both his knees on GMHBA Stadium's LED fence signage against Geelong a fortnight ago, and Jed Anderson (hamstring) are fit to play for the Kangaroos.
Ziebell missed about eight minutes of playing time as North's medical staff battled to stem the bleeding.
The Bulldogs are unchanged.
In other news, the Roos lost two of their promising key defenders to game-ending injuries in the VFL contest.
Sam Durdin copped a poke in the eye in the opening minutes and sustained related illness from the incident, while Ben McKay hurt his left knee in the third quarter.
McKay briefly returned to the field with strapping under his left knee, but quickly came off again for further assessment.
