Ward suffered the knee injury in a tackle by Cat Gary Ablett in the first quarter of the Giants' four-point victory at GMHBA Stadium on Saturday.

ANALYSIS Can the Giants win the flag without Callan Ward?
"This is obviously devastating news for Callan who is a tremendous leader of our club," Giants football manager Wayne Campbell said.
"His character and leadership of the club is highly valued and I have no doubt he'll continue to play a very important role in the coming months.
"As is the case with every player that suffers an injury, Callan has the full support of the club and the wider football community and we look forward to seeing him return to the field down the track."
