Best and Fairest winner Richard Douglas and runner-up Scott Thompson dominated Adelaide’s top stats in 2010.

Thompson achieved a top five finish in seven of the 12 categories listed below, and a top ten finish in 11 out of the 12.

He finished no.1 at the club for kicks (276), handballs (261), possessions (537), contested possessions (161), uncontested possessions (369), and clearances (91).

Douglas also featured in the top 10 in all of the 12 categories listed and was in the top five for eight of the 12 categories.

Douglas topped Adelaide’s inside 50s (106) and also goal assists (17) which are not listed below. He finished second behind Thompson for kicks (275), possessions (470), contested possessions (158) and clearances (70).

Brent Reilly had one his best season’s statistically, finishing in the top five for six of the 12 categories.

Reilly led the way with tackles (104), finished second for uncontested possessions (317), and finished behind Thompson and Douglas for kicks (245), possessions (433), clearances (70) and inside 50s (73).

Michael Doughty’s third place finish at Club Champion was highlighted in his 2010 stats, achieving a top 10 place in seven of the categories and a top five finish in six of them.

Doughty finished third for marks (113) and fourth for handballs (211), possessions (411), uncontested possessions (300), rebound 50s (43) and tackles (74).

Forward Kurt Tippett led Adelaide’s goalkicking (46 goals) and contested marks (44), while at the other end of the ground full back Ben Rutten took the most marks with 128.

Defender Graham Johncock, who finished fifth in the Best and Fairest and won the 19th Man Award voted by the members, topped Adelaide’s rebound 50s with 55 despite missing seven games this season.

While injury kept him out of the final six games of the season, skipper Simon Goodwin was also impressive in his final year.

He finished in the top 10 in nine of the 12 categories and also finished in the top five in four of them. He finished second for handballs (217) and finished fifth for clearances (49), uncontested possessions (287) and total possessions (402).
