MIDFIELDER Josh Prudden has been delisted by the Western Bulldogs for the second time in two years.
The 23-year-old played four games across his five years at the club, struggling with knee and ankle injuries, including a knee reconstruction in 2016.
He was selected with pick 50 in the 2012 NAB AFL Draft.
Prudden was delisted at the end of last year before being re-drafted by the club as a rookie.
Western Bulldogs list manager Jason McCartney said Prudden would be missed by the club.
"Josh was the very definition of a great teammate and he should hold his head high for the impact he's had on the group in his time here," McCartney told the Bulldogs' website.
"We wish Josh all the best for the future and we thank him for his commitment and dedication to our football club over the journey."
With Prudden departing the club, it leaves the Dogs with decisions to make on out-of-contract players Stewart Crameri, Mitch Honeychurch and Declan Hamilton.
AFL.com.au revealed on Friday that Essendon had shown interest in bringing Crameri back to Tullamarine, while Honeychurch will probably seek greener pastures after playing just 22 games in four seasons at the club.
Hamilton, the nephew of Darren and Andrew Jarman, is likely to be delisted or demoted to the rookie list after failing to play a game since being recruited with pick No.39 in the 2014 draft.
The futures of rookies Roarke Smith, Brad Lynch, Nathan Mullenger-McHugh and Tristian Tweedie look safe following impressive form at VFL.
Smith, an athletic defender in the mold of Easton Wood, played two senior games before suffering a second knee reconstruction in 18 months back in February.
The club is unlikely to make any further list changes until Footscray completes its VFL finals campaign.
Clubs have until Tuesday, October 31 to lodge their initial 2018 playing lists to the AFL.
