KIDS under the age of 15 will get free entry to games this weekend in a range of AFL initiatives for the final round of the home and away season.
The League has announced children under 15 will be able to enter games for free across the country, apart from Sunday's clash between West Coast and Adelaide at Domain Stadium, where the venue's capacity is limited.
Free entry will only be available in conjunction with any other ticket purchase, while the promotion will be limited to the first 100 kids at Saturday's Swans and Carlton meeting at the SCG.
The AFL is set to register a new record in total attendance figures this year, and the League's general manager of clubs and broadcasting, Travis Auld, said the evenness of the competition made for an exciting end to the season.
"To make round 23 extra special for all fans, we're inviting kids under the age of 15 to go for free across all days of the weekend," Auld said.
"This year has been one of the tightest in history, with 11 clubs still in finals contention, and with a considerable number of greats retiring at the end of their seasons, there’s even more reason to get to a game this weekend to cheer on your team."
There will also be a number of giveaways across the weekend's games.
