Swans youngster Gary Rohan will make his return from an athroscope on his right knee in tomorrow’s reserves game against Tuggeranong at Canberra’s Greenway Oval.
Rohan underwent the arthroscope to remove a flap of cartilage on his knee on May 25 and will return to the field for the first time since the seniors round 4 loss to Geelong on April 16.
Rohan has been named in a formidable half-back line which also features Lewis Johnston, returning from duty with the seniors against Collingwood last weekend, and Campbell Heath, who is continuing to improve with each game in his return from off-season LARS surgery on his knee.
After combining for 22 of the team’s 33 goals last weekend, Trent Dennis-Lane, Nathan Gordon and Matt Spangher have all been named in the Swans forward line, with Jarred Moore to again provide the link between midfield and attack playing off the half-forward flank.
Coach Henry Playfair said the team would be focused on maintaining the form they showed in their 188-point victory over Queanbeyan last weekend, and putting in a good performance in Canberra.
The Sydney Swans reserves will face Tuggeranong at Greenway Oval tomorrow from 2pm.
