THE SILVAGNI name will remain at Carlton for at least another two years.
Following an impressive run of form to end the season, Jack Silvagni has been rewarded with a two-year contract extension that will tie him to the Blues until 2021.
Silvagni, whose deal at Ikon Park was due to expire at season's end, has averaged 15.8 disposals and 4.7 marks per game since David Teague took the reins in round 12.

He has kicked seven goals from those nine matches, also playing an important tagging role on Fremantle superstar Nat Fyfe during the side's upset victory earlier in the year.
The 21-year-old has played 59 games for the Blues after he was recruited to the club as a father-son prospect with the 53rd selection in the 2015 NAB AFL Draft.
In doing so, he continued the family's long history in the navy blue.
His father, Stephen, played 312 games for Carlton, was a two-time premiership player, an AFL Team of the Century member and is the club's current list manager.
Meanwhile, his grandfather, Sergio, played 239 games for Carlton, spent three games as its coach during the 1978 season and won two flags for the club.
His younger brother, Ben, was also recruited to the Blues as a father-son prospect last year.
