The teams for Week Two of the 2023 rebel VFLW Finals Series.
Stability is the order of the day in the rebel VFLW, with three of the four clubs naming unchanged line-ups for their semi finals this weekend.
Minor premier Collingwood and reigning champion Essendon will each go in with same 21 players that were victorious in the opening week of the finals for Saturday’s second semi final at Victoria Park.
It means Magpies Alyssa Whiley (knee) and Marnie Jarvis (finger) just failed to come up for the game but are expected to be available for either the preliminary or grand finals, while Amy Kane’s concussion issues continue to trouble her.
The Bombers have a long injury list, headed by Eloise Ashley-Cooper (hamstring) and Tamsin Crook (calf), who could push for selection in their next game.
Meanwhile, Carlton is unchanged for the second-consecutive week for its sudden death first semi final against Port Melbourne at ETU Stadium on Sunday.
The Blues are backing the team that booked its finals spot with a big win over Darebin in Round 14 before holding off Williamstown by four points in the DSV Stadium rain last week.
Mia Cowan (stress fracture) and Mia Haas (knee) are the only two on the Blues’ injury list, having been effectively ruled out for the season after Round 8 and Round 7 respectively.
Port Melbourne was the only team to switch things up, with Lisa Davie and Georgia Alomes recovering from injury to play their first games since Round 11 and 12 respectively, replacing Molly Denahy-Maloney and Maddi Shaw.
Kate Adams (ankle) is racing the clock to get back if the Borough’s season continues beyond Sunday.
