FORMER Brisbane Lions academy member Corey Wagner is in line to make his North Melbourne debut after being pulled out of Werribee's VFL clash on Sunday.
Wagner was a member of the Lions' academy for two years but the Queensland-based club chose not to match the Kangaroos' bid of pick No. 43 in the 2015 NAB AFL Draft.
He was named as an emergency for North's clash with Geelong last Saturday night.
Farren Ray and Trent Dumont also were rested for the game against Richmond's VFL team, while Majak Daw sat out the second half.
Injuries are a major concern for North coach Brad Scott, with the Kangaroos having a six-day break before playing Hawthorn at Etihad Stadium on Friday night.
Skipper Andrew Swallow was concussed in the 31-point loss to the Cats, Robbie Nahas has a compound fracture in his little finger, and Ben Cunnington (quad), Nick Dal Santo (adductor) and Shaun Atley (ankle) are all in some doubt to face the Hawks.
Daw was dropped from the team to face Geelong after the return of Todd Goldstein, who has been struggling with a knee concern.
