IN WHAT might be his final game, North Melbourne defender Scott Thompson has been reported for striking St Kilda midfielder Jack Steele.
Meanwhile, forward Mason Wood has been ruled out of the match with a left hamstring injury in the second quarter at Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
Steele took a mark and Thompson then hit him in the head with his left fist.
Thompson, 32, is out of contract at season's end and was playing his 222nd game against the Saints.
Roos coach Brad Scott said the injury wasn't a major concern.
Wood suffered a hamstring strain against Essendon in July.
"Mason Wood's just felt his hamstring. It's not a serious hamstring, but with his history, we just took him off," Scott said.
