AS THAT lock-out timer ticks down, AFL Fantasy must be across all of the information they need to make sure 2016 is their year.

Coaches will have unlimited trades with all other players until 1:40pm AEDT on Saturday when full lockout comes into effect at the start of the Melbourne v Greater Western Sydney match.

Tiger Connor Menadue (FWD/MID, $138,000) has been a popular choice after being named last night, as is Carlton’s number one draft pick, Jacob Weitering (DEF, $232,000).

Coaches will be keen to see the two most selected players in Fantasy Classic, Dustin Martin (FWD/MID, $573,000) and Sam Kerridge (FWD/MID, $299,000), suit up tonight and get their seasons off to a flyer.

Some news has filtered through that Callum Mills (MID, $227,000) will make his debut for the Swans and Gold Coast has confirmed rookie RyanDavis (MID, $125,000) will start. Both are worthy selections for your Fantasy squad.

Full teams will be announced at 6:25pm AEDT and The Traders will be chatting live from 6.15pm giving Fantasy coaches the best last minute advice ahead of round one. The most important selections will be highlighted, as well as some handy tips before locking away your squads.
