We are seeking an experienced retail professional for an 18 month contract to take our retail/online business to the next level. Reporting to the Consumer Business Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing our retail team in a high performance culture to achieve monthly and annual budgetary targets.

Key responsibilities:
  • To manage, train and develop staff to maintain our high performance team culture
  • Be responsible for the achievement and growth of merchandise budgets
  • Manage and co-ordinate the purchase of all merchandise for the Cats shop & Cats shop online
  • Be responsible for pricing orders and stock control
  • To work in conjunction with key suppliers for the development of new and innovative product ranges
  • Develop a promotions advertising calendar to achieve sales targets
  • The ongoing development and maintenance of merchandise displays
  • To create and manage attractive mail-order catalogues
Some of the skills and attributes that you will have to put you in good stead for this unique opportunity:
  • Experience in a retail environment
  • Exposure to online retailing
  • Appropriate competency levels in Leadership and Operations management
  • Ability to work independently and achieve identified KPI’s
  • Understanding of elite sport/AFL merchandising would be an advantage!
