In 2008, the MCG ticketing agent contract expired and, upon completion of the tender process, Ticketek was awarded the ticketing contract by the MCC. AFL Members are advised that the AFL is not the ticketing contract partner of the MCG or Telstra Dome.
AFL Members will be required to pre-book their reserved seats and guest passes through Ticketek for MCG matches.
The new Ticketek contract will come into effect in March, 2009, and will result in changes to the way in which AFL Members have previously pre-booked reserved seats and guest passes.

AFL Member Reserved Seat Fees
The reserved seat fee for Telstra Dome matches in 2009 will remain at $5.50 for adult and concession AFL Members and $2.20 for junior AFL Members.

Ticketek Transaction Fees
The below fees will be applied to each transaction and differ depending on the method of purchase e.g. If an Adult Member was to buy a reserved seat for themselves and another Adult Member for ANZAC Day via and outlet, the total transaction would cost $13 ($5.50 per adult member reserved seat plus $2 for the outlet transaction fee).
