MIDFIELDER Katie Loynes and the ruck Breann Moody have tied for the Carlton’s AFL Women’s best and fairest award.
Loynes and Moody polled 42 votes each, while key forward Tayla Harris finished third with 41.
Moody, 21, was named the club’s most improved player in 2017 and this year was nominated for the NAB AFLW Rising Star award.
The 32-year-old Loynes, who also won the Blue Bloods award for her dedication to club values, was the Blues’ most consistent on-baller.
Former netballer Maddison Gay was named the club’s best first-year player.
Players received votes from four coaches, with a maximum of 16 on offer per player per match.
