PORT Adelaide small forward Sam Gray and defender Trent McKenzie have had surgeries that will have them on limited training until the new year.
Gray has had an arthroscopy on the right ankle that troubled him during the season, while McKenzie has had a shoulder operation after an injury at training late last week.
Gray will be on limited training until the Christmas break, but will return to full work in the new year and is expected to be available for the JLT Community Series.
McKenzie had shoulder labral repair surgery on Tuesday.

Gray was on crutches watching on at the Power's training session at Alberton Oval on Wednesday morning.
Gray missed the round 16 win against St Kilda with an ankle issue, then came back for two games before being dropped to the SANFL for two weeks.
Gray returned to the senior side for the final three games of the season.

The 26-year-old kicked 21 goals in his 19 games for the Power this season.
McKenzie, also 26, played one game for the Power this year after joining the club as a delisted free agent at the end of last season.
He played 106 games for Gold Coast from 2011-17.
