PORT Adelaide forward Todd Marshall is in danger of missing the entire AFL season after rupturing his Achilles tendon.
The 26-year-old hurt himself at training on Monday, with scans later revealing the "shattering" news.
Footballers tend to take between six and 12 months before returning to play from a ruptured Achilles.

Marshall's injury further depletes the Power's forward stocks after Charlie Dixon retired at the end of last season.
He will have surgery this week, with Port not putting a timeline on his return to the field.
"We are shattered for Todd," Port medical boss Tim O'Leary said.
"We will put plenty of support behind Todd and we know he will approach his rehab with the same positive attitude and resilience that he has shown throughout his career.”
Marshall, who is contracted until the end of 2029, has kicked 159 goals from 116 games since debuting in 2017.
