Geelong Cats VFL coach Mark Corrigan and Coburg midfielder Joel Trudgeon are special guests on this week's episode of State of Play.

The Cats produced a stunning upset over 2023 preliminary finalist Brisbane Lions at Brighton Homes Arena in Round 4, claiming a three-point thriller to square the ledger at 2-2. Corrigan discusses that performance and some of the young talent emerging through the Cats' VFL program.

Trudgeon joins after Coburg ended a 23-game losing streak with a brilliant win over Collingwood at Piranha Park on Sunday. The Lions' midfielder discusses the drought-breaking win and the reasons behind his move to Coburg after stints with Box Hill Hawks and Carlton.
