COLLINGWOOD star Nick Daicos was crowned the AFL Coaches Association's Champion Player of the Year despite failing to poll a vote in round 24, while three players scored a perfect 10 votes to finish the season.
Daicos was the runaway winner of this year's award with 147 votes ahead of Marcus Bontempelli, who picked up three votes in his side's win over Melbourne.
Daicos smashed the previous record for most votes in a single season, set by Richmond great Dustin Martin with 122 in 2017.
Brisbane spearhead Logan Morris polled 10 votes after bagging eight goals in Brisbane's win over the Magpies, while Geelong's Bailey Smith and Adelaide's Izak Rankine also polled 10 votes.

Gold Coast's Matt Rowell, Carlton's Sam Walsh, Port Adelaide's Jase Burgoyne, Sydney's Brodie Grundy and Hawthorn's Will Day all received nine votes from the coaches.
Bulldogs coach Luke Beveridge and Demons coach Steven King were split with their votes, with Melbourne swingman Harrison Petty, skipper Max Gawn and Bulldogs mid Ed Richards all polling eight votes.
Every week, the two senior coaches for each game give votes on a 5-4-3-2-1 basis, meaning 10 votes is the maximum a player can get in each round.
The player with the most votes at the end of the home and away season will win the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year Award.
