EXCLUSIVE: Taylor Adams in no hurry to sign new deal with GWS
TAYLOR Adams' strong month of form for Greater Western Sydney won't push him to make a decision on his future, with the midfielder attracting significant attention from Victorian clubs.
The 19-year-old is out of contract at the end of this season and the former Geelong Falcons onballer is in no rush to make a call on where he will play his football next season.
Adams, who was drafted with pick 13 at the 2011 NAB AFL Draft, has been perhaps the Giants' best player over the past four weeks, averaging 25 disposals.
While the Giants are keen to retain Adams, he has been focused on playing well before stepping up contract talks. Almost all Victorian clubs have expressed their interest in securing him if he chooses to entertain offers from his home state.
His manager Scott Lucas, of Phoenix Management Group, said he has been in constant dialogue with the club.
"Discussions are on-going and going well, and at the appropriate time we'll sit down with Taylor and discuss further in greater detail," Lucas told AFL.com.au.
Adams is the most highly-rated Giant who remains unsigned for 2014.
The club has done a terrific job in re-signing most of its talented young list, despite fears it could be raided by rivals.
