NORTH Melbourne has cut four players from its list ahead of next month's NAB AFL Draft, including former Melbourne No.11 pick Jordan Gysberts.

Delisted alongside Gysberts on Monday were Will Sierakowski, Ayden Kennedy and Ben Mabon.

They join rookies Cameron Richardson and Ben Speight, who were let go before the Gillette Trade Period, and key defender Luke Delaney, who was traded to St Kilda, in departing the Kangaroos this off-season.

Gysberts made a promising start to his career at Melbourne, earning NAB AFL Rising Star nominations in both 2010 and 2011.

But, after playing 19 games for the Demons over three seasons, he was traded to North Melbourne at the end of 2012, and did not manage a senior game at his new club.

In June, Kangaroos assistant coach Darren Crocker revealed on the club's website that the midfielder's physical development was akin to a newly drafted player.

"He's got to improve his fitness," Crocker said at the time.

"In a physical sense, his strength is like a guy who has come into our club and starting from scratch."

Sierakowski played seven senior games in 2013 after joining the Kangaroos via a trade with Hawthorn at the end of 2011.

Neither Kennedy nor Mabon played a senior game, with Kennedy's career cruelled by serious foot and knee injuries.
