The 19-year-old played five games last season, and is determined to add more size to his frame this summer.
With Crameri and Gumbleton traded to the Western Bulldogs and Fremantle respectively, the Bombers will have a new-look forward line.
Daniher told AFL.com.au he wanted to be primed if new coach Mark Thompson called on him.
"It was unfortunate to lose two great guys to different football clubs, but obviously Scott needed opportunities at AFL level and Stewie was chasing new opportunities.
"It does open the window for a few others, and we're lucky enough to have Paul Chapman on board. I'm sure I'll be able to learn a lot off him in terms of forward structures.
"For me it's just about building a good base of fitness so I can compete with the better players in the competition.
"I'll try to get a little stronger and put on a few more kilos and hopefully that holds me in good stead to be a little more competitive at senior level."
Daniher is feeling good following minor knee surgery, leaving him primed for a big pre-season.
"I had a little clean out on my knee post-season.
"It was more cautious than anything. I've come back and gone straight into full training and so I'm looking forward to building a solid base and hopefully that will take me into the start of next season."
The youngster didn't make the most of his opportunities up forward last season, finishing with three goals and nine behinds, and he admits goalkicking will be a focus this summer.
"It was pretty disappointing to kick the way I did last year. Hopefully I can turn that around this season, and pre-season I'll be working on that for sure."
