JOEL Selwood has been a Fantasy gun for years, but in 2014 he can't even claim to be the most valuable Fantasy player in his family.
That honour belongs to younger brother Scott, who is the sixth-highest priced player in the League next season.
For what it's worth, Geelong captain Joel is eighth in line.
Scott Selwood averaged 108.39 Fantasy points per game in 2013, to go along with a 25.3 possession per game average.
2014 AFL Fantasy price watch: Gold Coast
Like his older brother, Scott thrives in the contested situation and managing to put pressure on the opposition.
The Eagle averaged 7.6 tackles a game last season – a key factor in his high Fantasy numbers.
Despite his red-hot form, Selwood's midfield teammates were well down on their output last season.
Andrew Gaff struggled for form and consistency in 2013.
Gaff's value has seen a significant drop in 2014, with his price decreasing to $378,700.
That's a near $68,000 fall in price from the start of last season.
Rosa – who battled niggling injuries for much of last season – has fallen to $381,900 in 2014.
Fantasy players may have to choose between popular ruck duo Nic Naitanui and Dean Cox next season.
Both Naitanui and Cox have lost their dual position status, so coaches will only be able to be pick them up as ruckman in season 2014, rather than selecting one as a forward.
Coaches will also be hoping West Coast's forward line show marked improvement in 2014 when it comes to Fantasy numbers.
Mark LeCras [FWD, $458,800] and Jack Darling [FWD, $374,500] are on notice in particular.
Dom Sheed, picked up by the Eagles with pick No. 9 in the 2013 NAB AFL Draft, will start at $235,800 next season.
Sheed was one of the standout players throughout the NAB AFL Under-18 Championships for Western Australia, highlighted by a 29-possession, four-goal display against Vic Country. He looks a tasty prospect.
