Magpies and Cats name their subs for the NAB Challenge opener

SCOTT Pendlebury will start his first game as Collingwood captain in the green substitute's vest.
The Magpies have named Pendlebury, who takes over from long-time leader Nick Maxwell, and exciting half-forward Jonathon Marsh as their starting subs for Wednesday night's NAB Challenge opener against Geelong at Simonds Stadium.
The Cats have opted to start young duo Jesse Stringer and Jordan Schroder in the lime green.
Magpies Alex Fasolo, who is still recovering from a serious footy injury, veteran Ben Hudson and Irishman Caolan Mooney will not play.
Geelong has decided to leave Jackson Sheringham and youngsters Jarrad Jansen and Joel Hamling out of the lineup for the matchup with the Pies.
