Fyfe bumped Gold Coast midfielder Michael Rischitelli during the third quarter of Freo's win over the Suns on Saturday night, contact that resulted in an accidental clash of heads.

Both players were forced from the field with gashes after the incident, and the Match Review Panel deemed Fyfe responsible because he chose to bump instead of tackle.
Fyfe was one of this year's early Brownlow favourites but is now ineligible, while he will now miss this Friday night's Grand Final rematch against Hawthorn at the MCG and the round four clash against Essendon at Patersons Stadium.

The Dockers will also be without full-back Zac Dawson against the Hawks after he accepted a one-match ban for tripping Sun Brandon Matera, while Geelong defender Taylor Hunt will miss the Cats' big clash with Collingwood after accepting a one-match sanction for rough conduct against Brisbane Lion Daniel Rich.
Fremantle's general manager of football operations Chris Bond said the club decided it wasin "the best interests of both players" not to challenge the suspensions.
“We are of the firm belief that in each case a challenge would have beenunsuccessful. An unsuccessful challenge in each case would have seenboth players, who already have carry over demerit points, risk furthersuspension if either player was again cited by the Match Review Panel," Bond told the Fremantle website.
“Not challenging the suspensions limits the amount of carry over demerit points for each player.
“[And given] the AFL Commission’s clear position on head clashes and our legaladvice, we have decided that a challenge in Nat’s case would not besuccessful and if we were to proceed would risk him facing furthersuspension."
Carlton spearhead Jarrad Waite also accepted a reprimand for staging after Richmond's Jake King made unnecessary contact with him with his foot during the third quarter of last Thursday night's clash at the MCG.
King accepted a $900 fine for his actions.
The AFL Tribunal will not sit on Tuesday night after all eight players charged by the MRP accepted their sanctions.
