WESTERN Bulldogs veteran Daniel Giansiracusa will miss the next two matches, while Essendon forward Jason Winderlich and Melbourne midfielder Jordie McKenzie will be sidelined this weekend after accepting suspensions offered by the Match Review Panel.
Giansiracusa was cited for rough conduct after laying a high bump on Port Adelaide's Jared Polec at the Adelaide Oval on Saturday afternoon.
The bump was assessed as reckless, low impact and high contact.
Giansiracusa's carryover points pushed the initial penalty to 295.31 points, which was just shy of a three-match suspension.
Even though he accepted a discount for pleading guilty, he will still have to miss two matches.
Winderlich was booked for an off-the-ball strike on Adelaide defender Luke Brown during the Bombers' win at Etihad Stadium on Saturday night.
The incident, in which Winderlich elbowed Brown in the midriff, was assessed as intentional, low impact and body contact.
Winderlich's carryover points meant that he couldn't escape a one-game ban even though he pleaded guilty.
McKenzie was cited for elbowing North Melbourne's Lindsay Thomas in the head during the Demons' loss at the MCG on Sunday evening.
The incident was assessed as intentional, low impact and high contact.
His initial penalty was a two-match suspension, but his clean record meant he was able to accept a one-game ban by pleading guilty.
Incidents involving Gold Coast youngster Jaeger O'Meara and West Coast's Luke Shuey were also looked at, but both players were cleared of wrongdoing.
O'Meara attracted scrutiny for pushing Geelong's Allen Christensen into the path of Suns key forward Charlie Dixon, which resulted in Christensen copping a heavy knock.
The panel found that Cats defender Jared Rivers pushed Dixon at the same time as O'Meara pushed Christensen.
"It was the view of the panel that O’Meara was seeking to gain best position at ground level and his actions could not have foreseen Dixon also being pushed into a position where contact with Christensen would occur," read the MRP's statement.
Shuey attracted scrutiny for flattening St Kilda’s Nick Riewoldt during Sunday's match at Etihad Stadium.
The MRP found that, "Shuey makes contact to the back of his opponent and Riewoldt falls heavily.
"A free kick was paid at the time for the push and it was the view of the panel that Shuey was seeking to spoil and his actions were not unreasonable in the circumstances."
