FREMANTLE at Patersons Stadium is one of the toughest assignments in the AFL and Greater Western Sydney will need to produce its greatest ever performance to overcome the Dockers. Fremantle is on a seven-match winning streak but the more daunting issue for the Giants is how can they possibly kick a winning score. In two previous matches against Fremantle they have failed to kick more than six goals. Five teams - Collingwood, Gold Coast, the Western Bulldogs, the Brisbane Lions, and Melbourne - have suffered the same fate this season. The Giants have been the number one centre clearance team this year, an area in which the Dockers have struggled. They will take the ball forward, but can they score heavily enough to trouble Fremantle?

THE SIX POINTS
1. Fremantle thrashed GWS the last time the sides met, with the Dockers producing a 16 goals to one second half that included a nine-goal final term.

2. The Giants are the equal best clearance side in the competition with Gold Coast. The Giants average 41.7 clearances per game. Co-captain Callan Ward is ranked second in the AFL and Adam Treloar sixth for clearances.

3. The Giants are also the number one centre clearance side in the AFL, averaging 13.9 per game. Fremantle has struggled with centre clearances, and are ranked equal 14th with 11.2 per game.

4. The Giants have not enjoyed travelling to Patersons Stadium. In three games they have suffered defeats by 95, 113, and 111 points, conceding an average score of 159 points per game.

5. Fremantle has been close to unbeatable at Patersons Stadium this season, winning seven of eight games. The Dockers have won 19 of 21 matches at home since the start of 2013. No opposition team has kicked 100 points in a game against them at Patersons Stadium in those games.

6. Nat Fyfe has rocketed to 16th in the Official AFL Player Ratings and will almost certainly crack the top 10 shortly. He scored the most rating points the last time these two sides met, with 19.

Prediction: Fremantle by 60 points
