FOR THE first time, the 2014 national draft begins on AFL.com.au and the AFL Live Official App with a special 'NAB Draft Countdown' broadcast from 3pm AEDT.

Coming to you from the Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach, join Garry Lyon, Matt Thompson and draft specialist Callum Twomey for a preview of what insiders say is the most even draft in memory, including all the late mail.

We'll have interviews with the who's who of the footy world, including Melbourne coach Paul Roos, GWS football manager Graeme 'Gubby' Allan, veteran Collingwood talent spotter Derek Hine and premiership-winning Hawthorn list manager Graham Wright.

We'll also have Brisbane Lions football manager Peter Schwab, North Melbourne's Geoff Walsh and the man who will be conducting his first draft meeting - AFL CEO Gillon McLachlan.

You'll also hear from a selection of the country's best young footy talent as they nervously wait to see what the future holds.
