EVERYONE loves a dual-position player and experienced Richmond midfielder Brett Deledio's new status as one will have many NAB AFL Fantasy coaches turning the lock on the Tiger star.

 

After a consistent stint in attack in 2014, where he kicked 20 goals despite an early-season Achilles problem, Deledio can be drafted as either a forward or midfielder in 2015.

 

Dustin Martin – another midfielder who gave the Tigers drive in attack with his explosive power and strength – is also available in both positions.

 

 

Needless to say, neither are cheap. Deledio will cost you $548,000 and Martin $553,000, but it's their versatility and the fact they nudged a Fantasy average of 100 in 2014 that will keep coaches keen.

 

Brandon Ellis is also a tempting prospect, given his emergence to the rank of elite in the Richmond midfield last season.

 

The 21-year-old might only be available as a midfielder but gives good value at $544,000 with his average of 96.09 that comes with the added word he's having a pretty impressive pre-season.

 

Of course, when it comes to elite Tigers, captain Trent Cotchin (MID, $571,000) is still the main man. Cotchin, just like his charges, was absolutely motoring by the end of 2014 and he must be considered.

 

And for your backline, All Australian defender Alex Rance is starting at $397,000, which is a handsome price for a backman who averaged 70.12 points last season over 18 games.

 

 

Chris Knights [FWD, $291,000]: The former Adelaide forward has played just five games for Richmond after complications from his 2013 knee injury carried into the next season. At his best, has proven he can find the goals – he kicked 43 in 2009, when he played 20 games for the Crows – and could present as an experienced option who comes with a decent price tag, if his body stays together.
