WEST Coast coach Adam Simpson refuses to buy into the 'flat-track bully' debate surrounding his side following the Eagles' 87-point thrashing of Greater Western Sydney.
The Eagles produced a dominant four-quarter performance with winners all across the board and held the Giants to the second-lowest score in their history.
Simpson was asked in the post-match press conference whether the win over the Giants, who entered the match 3-1, dispelled the 'flat-track bully' tag.

"What are they, second on the ladder? There you go," Simpson said. "I don't really buy into that. We want to play like this every week. If we don't against teams that are higher up the ladder, that's what we've got to improve, not these games.
"GWS, I don't know where they're going to finish this year. I don't know where they're at.
"All I know is we turned up with the right intent tonight and that's our ambition to do that every week.
"But sometimes we're going to confront teams that are higher up the ladder, in better positions, with better personnel.
"We're dying to really have a crack at Port Adelaide this week and we'll see how we go."
The Eagles travel to Adelaide next week to take on Port after two consecutive wins. Simpson said it would be one of the biggest tests his side will face this year.
"It's probably the biggest," Simpson said. "I hope they beat the hell out of each other tomorrow (in the Showdown). We played them in the pre-season and they were electric. They take the game on.
"They're really fast starters. So we'll use every minute we can to recover and throw everything at it."
The Eagles have some sore players following the win over the Giants, including Josh Kennedy who hurt his elbow in the second term. He returned to play the second half and kicked four goals to finish with six for the match.
"We were told there was no risk for him to come back and I back my medical staff in that they make the right choices and decisions, and they were right," Simpson said.

Luke Shuey and Will Schofield both limped off at different stages with ankle problems, but both appeared to be fine after playing out the match. Mark LeCras was subbed out in the last quarter as a precaution after battling some tightness coming off a six-day break.
Simpson was really pleased with the performance of Elliot Yeo. The 21-year-old had 25 touches in the midfield and dominated the first-half when the game was up for grabs.
"He's got a bit of swagger and I like that, as long as he can back it up," Simpson said. "He's been dying to get into the midfield. He's been playing a role for us down back.
"You'll still see some inconsistencies with him.
"We still might need him down back at stages. He's a hybrid-type player.
"He can play in multiple positions and that's what we want to build towards.
"He's actually got some presence up forward too. I think he had a good night tonight."
