THE WESTERN Bulldogs will make at least two changes for Friday night's clash with Greater Western Sydney after veteran Matthew Boyd and premiership teammate Shane Biggs both failed to make the trip to Canberra.
Boyd, a noticeable absentee when the Dogs had a light training run in crisp conditions at UNSW Canberra Oval on Thursday afternoon, has been rested, while fellow defender Biggs has been axed for the second time in three weeks after struggling for form so far this season.
Captain Bob Murphy, along with deputy Easton Wood, Jason Johannisen, Josh Dunkley and Fletcher Roberts, were all on light duties doing stationary ball work, but don't look to be in any doubt to face the Giants.
Premiership midfielder Caleb Daniel and youngster Bailey Williams are the two likely inclusions, with Bailey Dale also on the track as part of the Bulldogs' 23-man squad.
Friday night's encounter will be a rematch of last year's preliminary final at Spotless Stadium, which the Dogs won by six points on their way to a historic flag win over the Swans.
