WEST Coast has joined the hunt for Western Bulldogs Norm Smith medallist Jason Johannisen.
Johannisen, 24, is out of contract at the end of the season and the West Australian put contract talks on hold earlier this year.
However, Dogs coach Luke Beveridge said a few weeks later Johannisen had restarted discussions.
Johannisen's manager Tim Galic told foxfooty.com.au the Eagles have expressed interest in his client.
"West Coast has registered an interest in the player," Galic said.
Johannisen was picked up in the 2011 rookie draft and has played 74 career games to date.
He has lined up in every match this season and is spending more time up forward.
The South African-born player racked up 33 disposals in last season's Grand Final win against Sydney.
