MELBOURNE star Jesse Hogan has injured his left hamstring in the second term of the Demons' season-defining clash against Collingwood at the MCG.
Hogan left the field at the 12-minute mark of the second term, and went straight down into Melbourne’s rooms.
After being assessed by the Demons’ medical staff, he emerged several minutes later looking despondent and did not return to the ground.
Melbourne officials confirmed the injury at half-time.
The game was Hogan’s second match back from a broken collarbone.
Last week against the Brisbane Lions he kicked six goals on return.
Jesse Hogan has come off with a hamstring injury & won't return to the ground today. We'll bring you more details when we can.#AFLPiesDees
