ADELAIDE could be without vice-captain Rory Sloane for its qualifying final with Greater Western Sydney after being booked in to have his appendix removed.
Sloane was scheduled for a press conference on Tuesday morning, but had abdominal pain and didn't report to the club.
He has been admitted to hospital for surgery.

In a statement, the Crows said they remain hopeful Sloane will be available for the clash with the Giants in nine day's time at Adelaide Oval next Thursday night.
Sloane is the second Crows this player to have his appendix removed this year.
Superstar forward Eddie Betts missed one game after his appendix burst earlier this season.
Sloane had 38 possessions, including 23 contested, in the Crows' loss to West Coast in Perth on Sunday.
He flew back to Adelaide with the team on Monday afternoon and only reported the pain on Tuesday morning.
