DUSTIN Martin's grandmother Lois has vowed to follow through on her promise that she would get her first tattoo following Richmond's breakthrough premiership win on the weekend.

"I said if Richmond ever win a premiership I'd get a tatt," Martin's nana, Lois, told KIIS FM.

"So that'll be my first one at 70."

But she stopped short of saying the type of tattoo she would get, with the show's radio hosts suggesting she could get an image of a Tiger or perhaps a scaled-down version of her grandson's face.

"I haven't made up my mind, I'll have to have a look and see," Lois said.

Martin's nana was on hand at Monday night's best and fairest as the superstar midfielder claimed his second consecutive Jack Dyer Medal.

The award capped off a brilliant season for Martin who won the Norm Smith Medal in Richmond's 48-point Grand Final triumph on Saturday.

Martin played a season football legend Leigh Matthews labelled one of the greatest ever, finishing with a Brownlow Medal, the AFLCA player of the year, the AFLPA player of the year and the 2017 AFLCA Gary Ayres Award for the best player in the finals.
