AN ANKLE injury has ruled Adelaide defender Daniel Talia out of Sunday's JLT Community Series clash with Fremantle at Strathalbyn Oval.
Talia rolled his ankle at training and the Crows expect he will be available for their second and final pre-season game with Port Adelaide at Alberton Oval on March 10.
Darcy Fogarty – the No.12 overall pick at the 2017 NAB AFL Draft – replaces Talia in the Crows' 26-man squad.
Bryce Gibbs and Sam Gibson will make their debuts for the Crows, while Tom Lynch will be the acting captain in the absence of injured skipper Taylor Walker.

The Dockers will take a strong squad into the game, led by captain Nat Fyfe, Lachie Neale, David Mundy and Michael Walters.
Defender Alex Pearce will play his first game in 645 days since breaking his leg in round nine, 2016.
