THE AFL has decided not to take any further action against a heckling Adelaide supporter who sparked a confrontation with Richmond coach Damien Hardwick after last Thursday night's game at Adelaide Oval.
After watching his side lose to the Crows by six goals, Hardwick walked down the stairs through the crowd at the venue, but stopped after taking exception to a fan's comments.
Hardwick turned around and had a few words with the man before pointing him out to security and continuing down the stairs.
The fan reportedly made a jibe about the Tigers' loss and being away from the comforts of the MCG, which they made their own during last year's finals run and premiership victory.
An AFL spokesman confirmed to AFL.com.au the League would not be pursuing the incident further after reviewing it over the last few days.
