ESSENDON'S Aaron Francis will make his long-awaited return to football this weekend, playing for the Bombers' VFL team on Saturday.
Francis, 20, has been named in the back pocket against Collingwood, his first match back after taking personal leave for mental health.
Last month Bombers captain Dyson Heppell said that Francis had spent time coaching local basketball and working part-time during his time away from the club, which started in February.

The South Australian, who has played five matches in his two years to date at the club, returned to training in March.
Meanwhile, doubt surrounds Orazio Fantasia's spot in the side for Anzac Day after training away from the main group on Thursday.
