NORTH Melbourne's VFL side failed to kick a goal in its 37-point loss to the Casey Demons at Casey Fields on Saturday afternoon despite fielding 13 AFL-listed players.
In a game marred by a deluge of rain and blowing wind, the Demons won 5.14 (44) to 0.7 (7), with dropped midfielder Dom Tyson amassing 31 disposals.

From the senior list, the Roos had Braydon Preuss, Luke Davies-Uniacke, Ben McKay, Sam Durdin, Nick Larkey, Daniel Nielson, Tom Murphy, Josh Williams, Mitchell Hibberd, Oscar Junker, Tristan Xerri, Kyron Hayden and Gordon Narrier.
Ruckman Preuss was his side's leading ball-winner with 19 disposals, while Davies-Uniacke finished with 18 and laid 10 tackles.
Meanwhile, Tyson was dumped after picking up 31 disposals in his past two weeks for the AFL side.
"Just out of the senior side at the moment and we're going pretty well through the midfield there so I've just got to make sure when my opportunity presents, I've had a good game previously at Casey," Tyson told Channel Seven after the match.
Jay Kennedy-Harris amassed 25 disposals and slotted three goals.
