WEST Coast defender Will Schofield will spend time on the sidelines with an injury to his left hamstring suffered in Sunday's 58-point win against Fremantle at Optus Stadium on Sunday.
The athletic defender was closing down the lead of opponent Cam McCarthy in the first term when he pulled up short and hobbled from the field.

Schofield received treatment on the bench and looked proppy running up and down the boundary line before consulting the club's physios and taking his place on the bench with ice applied high on his left leg.
"He wasn't good enough to come back on," Simpson said post-match.
"Fortunately we had a backman playing forward (Tom Barrass) and that was a pretty easy swing, and that forced us to play a bit smaller."
DEMOLITION DERBY 2.0 Five talking points
The setback is an untimely one for the 29-year-old, who looked to have cemented his place in West Coast's defence despite conjecture over whether he should be picked ahead of promising backman Tom Barrass.
Schofield also suffered a hamstring injury earlier this year while playing for WAFL affiliate East Perth.
