COLLINGWOOD will delist then re-draft Sam Murray as a rookie as the defender awaits his fate from an ongoing ASADA investigation.
The Murray news came as the Magpies announced they were not offering fresh contracts to 2010 premiership player Jarryd Blair, Adam Oxley, Josh Smith and Sam McLarty.
Kayle Kirby has also retired from the AFL because of his heart condition after collapsing on the field in a VFL practice match against North Melbourne in March.

Brody Mihocek, as AFL.com.au reported on Monday, and Josh Daicos have re-signed for two more seasons, while Tyson Goldsack and Levi Greenwood have penned new one-year deals.
Murray, who is serving a provisional suspension, recorded an elevated reading in a post-match drugs test, possibly after Collingwood's 28-point defeat to Richmond in round 19.

The initial reading is considered the A-sample, then it is at the athlete's discretion whether a B-sample is required.
Then-Collingwood players Josh Thomas and Lachie Keeffe were suspended for two years in 2015 after banned substance Clenbuterol was found in their system.
The Pies elected to re-rookie the pair, like they will with Murray, before delisting Keeffe at the end of the 2017 season.

"Jarryd, for example, has been a popular figure in the dressing room and around the club for almost a decade."
