RISING Geelong defender Jordan Clark has signed a two-year contract extension, meaning he will be in the hoops until the end of 2022.
As indicated by AFL.com.au several weeks ago, Geelong has moved quickly to secure Clark's signature after his strong start to his debut season.
The 18-year-old West Australian was taken with pick 15 in the 2018 NAB AFL Draft, which was the club's first selection.
A former underage Australian cricketer, Clark has looked assured in defence in his first three games at the top level.
He's averaging 15 touches a game and has also floated forward to kick two goals.

"Jordan has embraced the Geelong football club over his short time here and we are pleased to have secured Jordan's services for a further two years," Geelong's general manager of football Simon Lloyd said.
"From the outset, Jordan has demonstrated a thirst to learn and a strong appetite for hard work. He is a highly creative player who constantly challenges himself to improve, and most importantly, he loves what he does."
