What a perfect way to close out the weekend by heading to an evening of summer footy! Fremantle is set to take on the Lions in their home town on Sunday arvo, and this will be one of the last chances to catch the Dockers at Fremantle Oval for the 2020 season!

Dockers hold off valiant Lions to remain undefeated
Sabreena Duffy was on fire as Fremantle triumphed over Brisbane to reclaim top spot in Conference B
FREMANTLE is the only side left unbeaten in the NAB AFL Women's Competition after knocking off Brisbane by 18 points.
Dockers duo Sabreena Duffy and Ashley Sharp started out on fire with four first-quarter goals between them, as Fremantle scored 7.8 (50) to Brisbane's 4.8 (32) for its fifth-straight win.
Duffy's first six disposals were all scoring shots, with three of her four goals coming in a first-half blitz.

If she ever gets sick of dominating on the field, Fremantle midfielder Ebony Antonio could take up a career in confectionery sales after sending Lions defender Kate Lutkins flying with a brilliant feint before drilling a goal.
The win was particularly crucial for the Dockers with Melbourne and Carlton sitting just behind them with four wins each in a tough Conference B battle.
Brisbane sharpshooter Jess Wuetschner was a shining light for the Lions with two goals, while tall forwards Jesse Wardlaw and Dakota Davidson crashed packs all day long.
Emily Bates was at her typical ball-magnet best, racking up 27 disposals in a valiant effort for the Lions.

Sunday star Duffy could have broken Western Bulldogs sharpshooter Brooke Lochland's record for most goals in a NAB AFL Women's game. Duffy managed four goals and four behinds in a dominant display, but her misses weren't too far off. If there's one player who might better Lochland's legendary seven snags, it might be Duffy one day soon.
Turbo's Tackles Bowers' 15 tackles against Brisbane take her to a total of 58 throughout her first five games of the season and 147 for her 13-game AFLW career. In comparison, Adelaide's Ebony Marinoff has laid 270 tackles in her 29 career games. Bowers could get to that 270 mark in just 24 games if she maintains her current rate.

Did you see that? Brisbane's Davidson was attacking the footy with vigour all day, but she had to do so with only one boot for part of the day. The tall Lion ran around the ground for five minutes with just a sock on her left foot.
What next for the Lions? Brisbane came into the game with three wins and a draw, but desperately needed the win to stay ahead of North Melbourne in Conference A. The Lions will be looking for strong wins against Collingwood and Richmond over the next two weeks to head into a mouth-watering clash against the Kangaroos in round eight.
Say what? "She's a hard one to contain," Brisbane Lions coach Craig Starcevich said of Sabreena Duffy.
"I don't think we played our four quarters of footy to match up against them," Brisbane's Rheanne Lugg said of why the Lions didn't get over the line.

Next up Fremantle will head to VU Whitten Oval next Sunday to take on the Western Bulldogs, while Brisbane will host Collingwood on Saturday at Hickey Park.
