INTEGRAL Adelaide winger Eloise Jones has failed in her bid to overturn a one-match ban for a dangerous tackle, and will miss the Crows' preliminary final.
Jones was cited for a tackle on Saint Tilly Lucas-Rodd in the final 30 seconds of Sunday's match, and it was graded as careless conduct, medium impact and high contact.
Adelaide representative Andrew Culshaw said Jones was pleading guilty to careless conduct and high contact, but wished to argue her case at the Tribunal to decrease the impact grading to low.

The AFL's counsel Nick Pane said both arms of Lucas-Rodd were pinned as she was brought to the ground, and there were elements of a driving tackle and two motions in Jones' actions. He said Lucas-Rodd continued to lie on the ground after the tackle for 10-15 seconds.
Lucas-Rodd's medical report stated she received a black eye, but did not need any further medical assistance.
Jones did not provide any evidence herself in the fairly brief, half-hour hearing, with Culshaw arguing viewers instinctively know when tackles are dangerous and cause a concussion, and this was not one of those.
The jury of Paul Williams, Jason Johnson and chair Jeffery Gleeson deliberated for 12 minutes before returning, with Gleeson stating they believed there were two motions to the tackle, and there was the potential to cause a more serious injury.
Adelaide will play the winner of North Melbourne-Fremantle in its preliminary final.
