SATURDAY will mark another unusual step in one of the AFLW's biggest one-on-one rivalries.
Adelaide defender Chelsea Randall and Melbourne forward Tayla Harris will lock horns for a third time in the space of five Grand Finals (over six years), with Harris lining up for her third club.
Having previously played for Brisbane (2017) and Carlton (2018-2021), Harris is now firmly ensconced in the Demons forward line, in career-best touch and is the first AFL/VFL/AFLW player to line up in a Grand Final for three different clubs.
"The Crows have a really strong backline, they're strong across every area of the field, to be honest," Harris told womens.afl.
"Their backline is well-drilled, and I love that, we all want the best game of footy in the Grand Final, so I'm excited for the challenge. I haven't managed to pull together a game I'm happy with against Adelaide yet, so this is the weekend to do it.
"I often laugh, I feel like my kryptonite against Adelaide is when I'm playing against Chelsea, I spend half the time watching and enjoying the way she goes about it, flying through the air.
"She is the player I look up to and she's unbelievable. She knows that, I've probably said it a million times. So, the key for me is not standing there and watching, and actually getting the ball."

At just 24, it can be argued the best is yet to come for the high-flying key forward.
Harris kicked just four goals and averaged two marks in her season at Carlton (eight matches), but has relished the delivery from the strong Melbourne midfield this year, recording 18 goals and an average 3.5 marks from her 11 games.
Libby Birch is the only other player with Grand Final experience on Melbourne's list, having won the 2018 flag with the Western Bulldogs.
EXPANSION LIST RULES How the four new clubs can sign players
"I'll definitely draw on my Grand Final experience, and I never want to experience losing again, so I'll certainly be trying to avoid that," Harris said.
"We'll do everything in our power to win that game of footy. I can't wait, and 98 per cent of the team hasn't had Grand Final experience in AFLW yet, so hopefully I can watch everyone's face light up when we walk up and do our first warm-up or check out the ground for the first time.
"Adelaide Oval was a bit of a colosseum [in 2019] when the crowd exceeded expectations, hopefully they open tier three this time."
