The AFL has released the squads for the remainder of the 2022 NAB AFLW National Championships – Girls U18, with the next game a clash between South Australia and Western Australia on Sunday 10 April at Thebarton Oval, Adelaide.
The championships commenced when Victoria Metro defeated Vic Country by 53 points with the next phase of the schedule to be played in April from this weekend. In addition to the two Victorian sides, SA and WA, the championships will feature teams from Queensland, NSW/ACT and the Allies (including players from Tasmania and Northern Territory for the first Allies game with players from NSW/ACT incorporated into the Allies for the final two matches).

The revised model for the highest standard of girls representative football, featuring future stars of the NAB AFLW competition, is part of the AFL's Talent Pathway Program and will involve, where possible, same day travel for teams. It replaces the carnival model which was originally planned for and would've had all teams spending a number of days in the one location.
For the upcoming South Australia v Western Australia clash, NAB AFLW Academy players part of the squads include Hannah Ewings, Keeley Kustermann and Shineah Goody (SA), as well as Ella Roberts, Lauren Wakfer and Georgie Cleaver (WA).
How to watch: All matches will be live streamed free via womens.afl and the AFL Women's Live Official App.
