GRETA Bodey and Alyce Parker have made it three from three, the only two players to have been named in every womens.afl Team of the Week so far this season.

The dangerous Brisbane half-forward and the tenacious Greater Western Sydney midfielder join the likes of QClash medallist Emily Bates, Port Adelaide youngster Indy Tahau and Essendon forward duo Paige Scott and Steph Wales in this week's team.

The team is selected to mirror the All-Australian side: five defenders, six midfielders (including a ruck), five forwards and five interchange players.

Like the All-Australian team, it has players selected in general categories, rather than in traditional positions. The 16-a-side set-up often means teams play with varying configurations, making set selections (e.g wings and flanks) difficult.

Allen (17, eight intercepts and a goal) continues to shine, O'Driscoll (13, nine intercepts) was a bull at a gate for the Dockers and Tahau (11 disposals, nine intercepts, six marks) played her best game in Power colours.

Monahan (25, 11 marks) controlled play from defence, while Sheerin (20 disposals, 12 intercepts) showed plenty of creativity in just her third game.

MIDFIELDERS

Lauren Pearce (Narrm, ruck), Emily Bates (Brisbane), Monique Conti (Richmond), Kirsty Lamb (Western Bulldogs), Alyce Parker (GWS), Kerryn Peterson (Carlton)

In a slight statistical anomaly, Pearce (15 disposals, three marks) was beaten in the hitouts by Erin McKinnon, but her work in the stoppages and around the ground was so strong, she earned the highest number of AFLCA votes for the game.

Bates (21, 11 tackles, three clearances) was named best afield in the QClash and Conti (23, five clearances and three goals) added scoring to her weaponry.

Lamb (23, six clearances, five tackles) was a powerhouse in the contest, Parker (22 and five) was best-on for the Giants, and Carlton skipper Peterson (21, 401m gained) makes her TOTW midfield debut after a fine showing on the wing.

FORWARDS

Gabby Newton (Western Bulldogs), Danielle Ponter (Adelaide), Jesse Wardlaw (Brisbane), Steph Wales (Essendon), Paige Scott (Essendon)

Ponter (16 touches, two goals) was the matchwinner in the tightly fought tussle with North Melbourne, Wardlaw booted four against the Suns, while Newton (17, six marks, one goal) reminded Fremantle why she was a No.1 selection.

Young Essendon duo Wales (three goals, 10 hitouts) and Scott (three) feasted on West Coast to earn the Bombers their first interstate win.

INTERCHANGE

Mua Laloifi (Carlton, defence), Ally Anderson (Brisbane, midfield), Ebony Marinoff (Adelaide, midfield), Maddy Prespakis (Essendon, midfield), Greta Bodey (Brisbane, forward)

Laloifi (14 disposals, 10 intercepts) was instrumental in Carlton's fightback, while Bodey's fine season continued with another three goals.

The final midfield spots were earned by Anderson (28, six clearances and a goal), the elder Prespakis (22, four clearances and two goals) and Marinoff (29, 13 tackles, six clearances).
