AFTER losing inaugural players Gemma Houghton and Steph Cain to expansion sides during the off season, Fremantle took another hit with former captain Kara Antonio sidelined with a serious hamstring injury.
Despite this, the Dockers are fairly well placed to challenge in season seven thanks to the introduction of many new players over the last two years.

Changes from last season
The forward line is where the Dockers have been hit the hardest, especially with Gemma Houghton now at Port Adelaide and Kara Antonio injured.
Young forward Amy Franklin's presence and run will be vital, and with some added tall defensive stocks Aine Tighe looks likely to spend much of the season in attack.

Gabby O'Sullivan was impressive through the middle last season, but a return inside 50 is expected.
This is made possible by Philipa Seth's addition to the midfield, who seemed set to establish herself through the middle last season before injury forced her to the sidelines.
Former Crow Nikki Gore and 20-year-old Dana East also add depth to that midfield group.
They do, however, look very settled in defence, likely to lean on the combination used for much of season six.
In the mix
Should Kara Antonio's rehab go smoothly, she will be a likely immediate inclusion. Meanwhile Amy Mulholland, Tahlia Read, Megan Kauffman and Tara Stribley each provide some options in the forward half.
Should coach Trent Cooper wish to add more height to the side, Sarah Wielstra can assist through the ruck and in defence, while both Matilda Sergeant and Madeleine Scanlon will challenge for a place down back.
Irish recruit Orlagh Lally is an exciting, athletic prospect who looks sure to make an appearance in the senior side at some point throughout the season, likely bringing her dash out of the back half.
